Karen Money’s history as an educator and leader includes roles as Deputy Project Director responsible for facilitating the merger of 4 schools into a new entity, principal, acting Senior Education Improvement Leader, and most recently Director, Tutor Learning Initiative.
In 2010 Karen was appointed the inaugural principal of William Ruthven Secondary College, and in 2015, principal of Melbourne Girls' College. Under Karen’s leadership the school’s programs, positive psychology approach and STEAM initiatives are building future-thinking leaders.
Her work beyond schools has included lecturing at the University of Melbourne and representing Victorian government school principals at both state and national levels. Karen is an ACEL Fellow; fellow and former committee member of ACE; AEU National Principal Committee member and delegate; and VASSP member and former committee member.
