Description

The Literacy Leader Orientation will provide you with an overview of best practice to build your capability. It is an opportunity for secondary literacy leaders to build their knowledge of their role.

This webinar will explore the role of a literacy leader in a secondary school context and consider approaches that support the development of a whole-school literacy culture.

Explore the concept of disciplinary literacy with a focus on how to understand the literacy demands of subject areas and to reflect on the implications for teaching.

You will also unpack the Bastow Literacy Suite to plan your professional learning for 2020.
