Note: Due to the impact of current COVID-19 restrictions, the Education State Principals’ Conference will not proceed as an in-person event at the Melbourne Conference and Exhibition Centre this year. The conference will instead be held as an online event across two half days.
Join the conference with your leadership team for the following online sessions hosted by Michelle Bickley-Miller, A/SEIL SWVR:
Half-day 1: Tuesday 03 August - 9:30am – 12:00pm
This session will feature David Howes, Deputy Secretary Schools and Regional Services, DET and keynote speakers Professor John Hattie, Laureate Professor, Melbourne Graduate School of Education and Kristen Douglas, National Manager, Headspace for Schools.
Half-day 2: Thursday 02 September - 9:30am – 12:00pm
This session will feature Bronwyn Ryrie Jones, Teacher Educator, Dr Ben Palmer, CEO GENOS International and a panel focused on the Department's Mental Health and Inclusive Education priority initiatives.
The program is designed to be interactive, with short breaks and opportunities to post questions and collaborate with peers and speakers.

The Education State Principals' Conference 2021 is an opportunity for Victorian government school principals to come together to share knowledge and celebrate their profession.
The conference program is designed around 3 key themes:

- learning and excellence: deepening understanding of effective assessment and differentiation of student learning.
- connection and community: expanding connections to engage families and carers, the community and other schools to support learning.

Registration fee: The online event is free. Payments received for the live event will be refunded during August.
