Lifting the literacy levels of Victorian students is a key Education State goal, as literacy outcomes are crucial determinants in the ability of children and young people to reach their potential.
Bastow’s literacy suite is a comprehensive package of high-quality, evidence-informed professional learning that supports teachers, principal class officers and regional leaders to implement, promote and influence exemplary literacy practice in our schools and across our networks.
It is aligned with the Department’s Literacy and Numeracy Strategy and connects to an extensive range of evidence-informed resources, including the
Literacy Teaching Toolkit.
The literacy suite supports the development of virtual and place-based communities of practice through face-to-face, blended and fully online courses.
